23 Oct cancelled PH flights to be refunded
The Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) has just announced that passengers of the 100 flights cancelled on October 23 may get their tickets refunded or rebooked.
The Ninoy Aquino International Airport underwent a 30-hour maintenance procedure of its radars on Wednesday.
CAB said that not all passengers were informed of the flight cancellations. They added ‘Affected passengers can have their tickets refunded or rebooked, while those who were already at the airport at the time of the cancellation must be given the amenities provided by the regulation.
‘The rights are available to the passengers even if the flight cancellation was beyond the control of the airlines.’
CAB has intensified the monitoring of passenger assistance at the NAIA terminals in the last two days. They assure the public that they will continue to coordinate with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines.
