Alice Dixson marked her showbiz comeback in 2011 when she signed under TV5 and starred in ‘Babaeng Hampaslupa,’ her first project in six years. Since then, the 44-year-old actress appeared in five more shows, three movies and even posed for a popular men’s magazine cover that broke sales records.
After making a comeback the actress forged a more daring and successful career, and this reflects in her recent TV roles.
Alice revealed in FHM’s December 2013 issue that since TV5 started giving her more challenging and empowered woman roles, she felt the characters she played reflected her personality. This made her accept the offer to appear in the magazine’s sexy cover.
‘I think maybe when I was younger I wasn’t ready to do photo shoots like this. Even when Mother Lily was pushing me towards a sexy image I would always resist… But now, it’s become ordinary to come out in a bikini and it’s more accepted now. I just learned that its part of work, and it came out very nice,’ Alice said.
As 2013 proved to be a good year for Alice thanks to her daring career moves, fans of the actress are excited about what she has in store for 2014.
Although still fresh from the success of her latest show ‘For Love or Money’ with Derek Ramsay which concluded last 16 January, Alice is already busy shooting for a new comedy project with Ogie Alcasid and Gelli de Belen called ‘Confessions of a Torpe.’
