“For those who have read about the issue, yes, most of it is true. I admit to that & I have apologized to all parties included immediately,” Anne tweeted Sunday night.
In the original report that surfaced, Anne was in an exclusive club at the Bonifacio Global City complex, Taguig City in the early morning of 23 November hosting a bachelorette party of her friend. The drunken actress, who came out the restroom, rushed angrily over to John Lloyd’s group and slapped him and two other companions of the actor. She also shouted at TV host Phoemela Barranda and said, “I can buy you, your friends, and this club!”
Anne said she had too many drinks that night which led to the “unfortunate events.” She also vowed to learn from her mistakes.
“That’s why they say ‘Drink in moderation’. I will charge it to experience & a lesson learned,” the actress said.
Anne also apologized to her fans and thanked those who sent her messages of support.
“I’m sorry if I let any of my fans down…. As you all see, I’m just like any other person that makes mistakes in life… Thank you to everyone that has messaged me about their support. With where I am today I owe all of you my honesty,” said Anne.
Following her statement, Anne’s friends from showbiz expressed their support to the actress.
“I love you Anne. You have a good heart,” Anne’s ‘It’s Showtime’ co-host Kim Atienza said, commending her honesty on the issue.
“We are just human and we all have our moments of weakness nippy, we are all here behind you… It takes guts to admit our mistakes and apologize to parties involved and you did learn and rise from the experience
