by FFE Entertainment News staff
As supertyphoon Yolanda lashed through Visayas last week, thousands of families were affected by the most powerful typhoon ever recorded and local celebrities have found ways to help the victims out.
Anne Curtis did not only use her twitter account that has 5.6 million followers to impart information on how to donate to the Yolanda victims but she also conducted a garage sale for the benefit of the typhoon survivors.
With only one day to prepare the event, Anne’s garage sale pushed through last Sunday at the Market! Market! Mall in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

Dubbed as ANNEdayGarageSale, the garage sale was a success, earning P370,000. The proceeds will go to World Vision PH, according to Anne.
Anne thanked everyone who went to the impromptu garage sale but said everyone can still do more to help.
“This is hardly enough, WE NEED TO DO MORE!!!!! Let’s continue to raise awareness and inspire people to do their part. YOU can even do something in your own little way,” Anne said in her Instagram page.
