Fruity good Mango Float
Mango is the national fruit of the Philippines and the country produces some of the sweetest mangoes in the world, especially if they come from the province of Guimaras. Did you know that Guimaras-produced mangoes are reportedly served at the Buckingham Palace and the White House?
Filipinos produce lots of products from the country’s sweet mangoes and yummy desserts is one of them. Mango Float is probably what comes into mind when thinking about Mango desserts because it is one of the most popular and the most delicious desserts we have!
What makes Mango Float popular is it has very simple ingredients. It is a layered dessert of sliced ripe mangoes, Graham crackers and condensed milk. Very simple isn’t it? Try out this recipe and let me know what you think!
1 can of condensed milk
250 ml All-purpose cream
2oo grams of Graham Crackers
1 cup crushed Graham crackers
3 ripe mangoes
Combine the all- purpose cream and condensed milk in a bowl and mix well. Set aside.
Cut the mangoes into thin strips.
In a pan, arrange the Graham crackers and layer the mango strips on top.
Spread cream mixture over the mangoes. Repeat until pan is almost filled.
Sprinkle crushed Graham crackers on top and add more mangoes.
Put it in the fridge and chill overnight.
