Hollywood’s Liam Neeson a proud fan of Manny Pacquiao
In his recent guesting in the American late-night show Jimmy Kimmel Live! Hollywood A-lister Liam Neeson mimicked Manny Pacquiao’s talking voice as recorded and sent through him via email by film producers.
In the interview with fellow Manny fan Jimmy Kimmel, Neeson was all praises to Manny. The actor gushed ‘he’s one of the greats.’ He added that the producers of the documentary ‘Manny,’ which he narrated, sent him a thank-you email with a film footage of Manny saying he was looking forward to meeting Neeson.
In describing what Manny said in the film footage, Neeson mimicked Manny’s voice, drawing laughs. He added that he had been proudly sharing this film footage to everyone he knew:
Neeson added that he had been a fan of Manny’s ‘for many, many years’ but that he had never met Manny personally. In a separate interview done in 2012 for his movie ‘Taken 2,’ Neeson couldn’t help but talk about Manny’s controversial loss to Timothy Bradley on their June 2012 title fight.
The 61-year-old Irish actor said Manny was ‘unquestionably robbed’ in the June bout and that the judges’ decision was ‘awful’ and didn’t do the boxing world good.
The film will make its world premiere in Austin, Texas during the 2014 Southwest Film Festival (SXSW) which starts 7 March. It will make its Philippine premiere on 12 March.
