by FFE PH News staff
Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific are waiving rebooking penalties for passengers who were unable to take their flights on August 19 due to tropical storm Maring. Torrential rains and floods have been triggered by the typhoon since entering Philippine waters August 17.
Cebu Pacific clarifies that this is only available for Luzon-based passengers. Meanwhile, PAL has added that passengers can only claim their complimentary rebooking within 30 days of their original flight date. A fare difference will also be collected should passengers rebook in another class.
Cebu Pacific flights 5J 513/514 Manila-San Jose-Manila were cancelled Tuesday morning due to bad weather. Passengers of these flights may avail full travel fund or refund.
