The German football club, Borussia Dortmund have bought a very fast striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who runs faster than the world’s 100 meters record holder Usain Bolt. Borussia Dortmund have bought the striker from the French club St Etienne.
In a sprint test this week Aubameyang ran 30 meters in 3.7 seconds. A time that is faster than Usain Bolt’s first 30m as he set a world record of 9.58 seconds in the 100 meter in 2009. Back then Usain Bolt ran the first 30 meters in 3.78 seconds.
‘Pierre is definitely the fastest player to ever play for us’, says Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc, to the German newspaper Bild.
Dortmund has paid 13 million Euros for the 24-year-old striker, who is also part of Gabon’s national team.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored 41 goals and assisted 28 goals in 120 appearances for his former club St Etienne.
