It was a big night for KC Concepcion last Sunday after winning the Best Drama Supporting Actress at the 27th PMPC Star Awards for Television at the AFP Theater, securing her very first acting award.
The 28-year-old actress said being nominated along veteran actresses is a humbling experience.
“My first acting award ever!!! It’s really an honor, so surreal & humbling to be nominated alongside Amy Austria, Angel Aquino, Ms. Gina Pareño, Glydel Mercado, Ms. Susan Roces & Sylvia Sanchez!” KC said in her Instagram.
KC thanked PMPC for the recognition and dedicated the award to her family, friends and people she worked with.
“To all my friends. True friends. Come hell or high water you never allowed me to stay down. ILY. You know who u are!” KC tweeted.
The Kapamilya actress won the award for playing the role of fierce Alexis Ganzon at the ABS-CBN primetime program Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala, top billing the show with Judy Ann Santos and Sam Milby.
“Thank u God for this gift. “Alexis” will be special to me forever,” tweeted KC.
