After working in the independent drama film ‘Padre de Familia,’ Nora Aunor and Coco Martin have nothing but nice words for each other and revealed what they wished they had of the other.
Nora said she wished she was as good in saving money as Coco, who is known as the breadwinner of his family. She added that she aspires to adopt Coco’s caring nature and his professionalism as an actor.
‘Ah, yung pagiging maalalahanin, at saka pagiging professional, sa lahat, bilang artista,’ the 60-year-old award-winning actress said.
Coco on the other hand said he wished to be as friendly with colleagues as Nora showcased during the shooting of their independent film directed by Adolfo Alix Junior.
‘…Kung paano siya makitungo at makisalamuha sa mga tao, hindi lang sa mga artista kung hindi pati sa mga staff,’ Coco revealed, adding that Nora took the ‘mother’ role in the set. ‘Siyempre ako artista ako, observant ako, para maging magaling kang artista dapat observant ka. Eh ‘yung simpleng pag-alalay niya kay Tita Anita Linda, ‘yung pagtanong niya sa staff kung kumain na ba lahat, siya ‘yung nanay sa set,’ he said.
Coco and Nora are without a doubt two of the most-acclaimed Filipino actors of all time, and Nora has expressed approval of labelling Coco as her female version.
‘Mana sa ina!’ the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences Award (FAMAS) Hall of Famer quipped.
