Philippine Cultural Evening Held in Geneva
A cultural evening presenting Philippine culture was organized by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS) in Geneva last November 10. The LDS Church, also known as the Mormons, held the cultural evening with the support of Permanent Mission of the Philippines to the United Nations and other International Organizations in Geneva and the city's Filipino community.
The event was conceived by Mr. Rody de Guzman, past President of the LDS in Geneva and prominent Filipino Community leader.
He encouraged everyone to visit the Philippines and to experience firsthand the unmatched hospitality of the Filipino people and the wonders of our natural attractions, emphasizing that indeed, "It's More Fun in the Philippines.
