Sarah G’s rendition of ‘Anak’ blows away Audience, Fans
Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo may just earn the title ‘certified rocker’ after blowing away the audience during the finale of the 6th Ani ng Dangal Awards last February 2.
The 25-year-old singer sang a rock version of the popular Freddie Aguilar hit ‘Anak.’ She was accompanied by the magnificent music of the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by musical director Gerard Salonga, Lea Salonga’s brother.
Two weeks after the Ani ng Dangal awards by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), fans of Sarah G are picking up news of the astounding performance over on social networks:

Over at Facebook, fans said ‘todo performance ang prensesa go Sarah Geronimo galing mo!!!’ ‘wala na talagang dadaig sayo ms sarah’ and ‘level up galing talagaaaaaaaaaaa.’
Meanwhile, YouTube users who have found videos of their idol couldn’t help but gush ‘i love sarah’s rendition….i always watch her every performance in singing ‘anak‘ hnd nkakaumay…!’ ‘Thanks for sharing…goosebumps……’ and ‘Bow ako sa nagiisang pop royalty natin. Whoah.’
Reading the comments, it seemed many fans were not able to witness the performance at the Newport Theatre in Resorts World. But thanks to those who were able to capture it, we can now see the amazing Sarah G with the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra.
