Oil and Energy Minister Ola Borten Moe has just given permission for the world’s largest wind power project to push through in the central Norwegian region.
The project will include eight new wind mill parks, generators and distribution grids to be located on the north and south of the Trondheims Fjord.
The new parks are estimated to produce 3.7 billion kWh annually, enough to power 180,000 houses.
